Hi, I'm Lisa

You're leading through more than a moment of change. This is the new normal, and you don't have to hold it alone.

You became a leader because you saw a better future and were willing to build it. But lately the ground keeps shifting. Your team is stretched thin, decisions feel heavier, and the mission you care about is getting crowded out by the fires you're putting out.Coaching gives you a steady place to think clearly, lead with your values intact, and stop carrying it all by yourself.

If any of this sounds familiar, you're not alone.

You're inspired by the mission, but exhausted by the internal drama and chaos that keeps pulling focus from it.

Your team is stressed, divided, or fearful - and it's affecting how they show up.

You want your workplace to actually reflect the values you lead with, not just state them.

You're making high-stakes decisions with less clarity and more pressure than you'd like to admit.

You don't need another framework.

You need space to think, a partner who'll ask the right questions, and practices that actually stick.Start with a free, no pressure conversation.

Hi, I'm Lisa

I think of myself as a curator of connection: to ourselves, to each other, and to the land beneath our feet

I help mission driven leaders, educators, and teams build the kind of presence, trust, and resilience that makes real change possible, not just for a season, but for the long haul.

A winding journey...

Today, my work lives at the crossroads of adventure based learning, mindfulness, and connection with nature. I coach leaders, train teams and educators, and guide people back to steadier ground, using the tools, teachings and practices that transformed me. Many of these were gained through unique experiences, challenges, and opportunities. My professional journey began in the Special Education classroom where I specialized in supporting students in developing the self regulation and social skills needed to learn and grow in the school environment. Through my Master's training, I began to incorporate play as a way to teach these skills.Ultimately, the pull toward experiential learning grew and led me to a career change, where I began training educators and teams across the country using Adventure-based methods. I fell in love with the work because of the way it challenged and changed me, and I felt my true calling emerge.

Along this journey I faced my own seasons of loss, change, and struggle, and in those I turned to yoga. Gradually, the study and practice of yoga, mindfulness, and meditation became my path back to steady ground. In 2017, I joined a volunteer trip to Puerto Rico to help rebuild after Hurricane Maria and ended up living there for two years. I immersed myself in the language and culture, found meaningful work rebuilding and teaching yoga, and discovered new opportunities to facilitate teambuilding and retreats.Nature has been the constant thread through every chapter — from the farm where I grew up to the forests I call home today. In 2020 I left Puerto Rico for the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts, where my work now weaves it all together: coaching, training, and facilitated experiences grounded in adventure, presence, and connection with the land.

It is with gratitude and humility that I acknowledge I live and work on the ancestral homelands of the Stockbridge-Munsee Band of Mohicans.

What People Say

"Within a few minutes in Lisa's presence, she is able to ground me and remove weeks of built-up stress. Before I know it, her presence and inquiry has led me down a path that enables me to think clearly about the challenges I'm facing, determine what I want the outcomes to be and create a list of feasible actions to achieve them. I'm so grateful to have met her."

— Clare, Coaching Client

"Thanks again for all you did for our team last month. The training was great because you are great. You fit in so well with our group and you kept us on track, which is not always an easy task with this group! Everyone was raving about it and we're already putting some of the strategies we developed into place. Thank you!"

— Jonathan B., Project Manager

Curious if we're a fit?

The first step is just a conversation. No pressure, no pitch, just a chance to see if I can offer something that helps.

Coaching

A steady place to think clearly, lead with your values intact, and stop carrying it all alone.

Coaching with me can happen on a video call, over the phone, or out on a trail — whatever gets you to clarity fastest. However we meet, the work is the same: real support for real change.

What Coaching Actually Is

Not another framework.
A steady place to land.

Coaching isn't about handing you a new system to follow. It's a dedicated space, on a consistent rhythm, where you get to slow down enough to hear your own thinking clearly again. Some sessions are quiet and reflective. Some are direct and challenging. All of them are shaped around what you actually need that week, not a script.

A Few Signs

Coaching Might Be For You If

You're the one everyone comes to, and you have no one to bring your own stuff to.

The decisions have gotten bigger, and so has the cost of getting them wrong.

You want a space to breathe.

You're committed to leading with your values, and lately that's getting harder to do.

You're tired of leading on overdrive.

You want practices that stick and support that comes from a real partnership.

However We Meet

Coaching Shaped Around You

Every engagement is built the same way, around your goals and your pace. The setting is simply a choice you get to make.

Nature-Based Coaching

The calming power of nature paired with the compassionate, exploratory space of a coaching session. We let the land help clear the mental clutter so truth, wisdom, and action can emerge.

  • A guided orientation to place and centering

  • "Walk-and-talk" coaching and reflection

  • Invitations to sit in silence and presence

  • Same accountability and action planning

Virtual Coaching

All the same depth and presence, from wherever you are. Virtual sessions make it easy to build coaching into a busy schedule, without losing the personal connection.

Nature-based sessions are available as part of any coaching engagement, in person at the same location, or in different locations over the phone, whatever serves you best.

A Coaching Engagement Includes

A clear, collaborative structure, so you always know what to expect and can stay focused on the work itself.

  • A free intro call to determine fit and alignment

  • A customized, co-created coaching agreement with clear goals and timeline

  • Virtual or in-person meetings, twice a month

  • Support and accountability for action-items and skill development

The first step is just a conversation. No pressure, no pitch, just a chance to see if I can offer something that helps.

Teams & Training

The resilience we need isn't individual. It's collective.

I help teams, schools, and organizations build the relational web that's crucial to collective safety, support, and success — and I make it fun, not forced.

Two Sides of the Same Work

Strong teams and skilled individuals build each other.

A team can't be resilient if the people in it don't have the skills to communicate, self-regulate, and navigate challenge. And skills don't stick if there's no trusted group to practice them in.That's why this work happens two ways: as team-wide experiences that build trust and connection, and as focused training that builds the individual capacity to sustain it. Most engagements draw on both.

Team Development

Build the Relational Web

Customized experiences that meet your team where it is, whether that's needing to release tension or ready to build real agility.

Especially useful for: remote or hybrid teams, dedicated people beginning to burn out, fast-paced workplaces where communication breakdowns get costly, and teams that want the agility to make smarter decisions faster.

Connection & Resilience

  • Have fun and release tension

  • Build familiarity and cohesion

  • Open lines of communication

  • Strengthen work relationships

Team Development & Agility

  • Build collaborative problem-solving

  • Navigate communication challenges
